THEORIES OF EMANCIPATION 

Theories of emancioations want to seek answers to the existencial problem of man. That is why education becomes an exercise of awareness of personal and social reality to eradicate illiteracy an d ignorance. The main purpose of education is to transmit values and prepare the human being and it emphasizes the importance of the teacher figure in the interpersonal relationship with students.

The main representative author is Paulo Freire who transmitted the pedagogy of hope and he supports the dialogue principle.

From my point of view, theories of emancipation are developing in our lives because we want to eradicate illiteracy and ignorance to be critical and creative.
